Learn more about West Vail South & Highland Meadows

West Vail South and Highlands Meadows are located approximately 2 miles from the Village and have a varied architectural designs from newly built modern styles to older homes dating as far back as the 60’s. With great proximity to all Vail has to offer, you can hop on the free town bus and be on the gondola in minutes. Thrill-seekers can even ski home through the backcountry just right outside of Vail Resort and end up in the backyard of a West Vail home. This is one of the beloved backcountry runs by locals in the area as you can see from the ski tracks up above this neighborhood.

Another main feature of West Vail is the Donovan Pavilion, located on the Gore Creek. This venue is a modern alpine events facility that hosts events all year round. Like East Vail, West Vail has plenty of open space and is slightly farther removed from the bustling town center and ski resort. In the summer, there is a bike/walking path that will take you through Vail and Lionshead Villages all the way to the golf course and the waterfalls in East Vail. Many of these homes are located on the banks of Gore Creek, so you can enjoy river activities right outside your door. This community features several dog parks and kids parks within walking distance. This is a great place for people that want proximity to Vail Village, but want more square footage for the money than Village/Lionshead properties offer.
