The Vail Valley Market Continues To Thrive

Even as we head into the fall, which is typically considered a slows down a bit from the summer selling season, Vail Valley’s housing market continues to show its strength as a haven resort location. According to the most recent Vail Valley Monthly Market Report from LIV Sotheby’s International Realty (click to see other markets in Colorado), total sales volume through September was up 29% in a year-to-date comparison to 2019. Much of this activity is driven by the sustained demand for homes which has been propelled by consumers’ desire to find a home that can meet all of their needs in the current times.
The highest priced sale in the Vail Valley for September was a single family home located at 107 Rockledge Road in Vail. This 7 bedroom, 10 bathroom, 11,509 square foot home sold for $27,500,000. Malia personally closed Bell Tower Penthouse (201 Gore Creek Drive) in Vail Village for just under 12 million in September as well as 816 & 826 Forest Road in the amount of 9.5 million which was for two vacant residential lots in Vail.
