Malia Recognized Awarded with Significant Sales Award 2019
Malia, lead broker on 1548 Via La Favorita, alongside her co-listing broker, Barbara Scrivens, were awarded with the Significant Sales Award for 2019 at the 24th annual Luxury Real Estate Fall Conference. The estate which sold for $15,454,000 represented the highest price residence to sell in nearly a decade for neighborhoods outside of Vail and Beaver Creek resorts and the highest price residence ever recorded in Edwards. The most expensive sale in the Vail Valley for October was a 3,670 square-foot, 5 bedroom, 9 bathroom residence located at 595 Vail Valley Dr #470 in Vail which sold for $8,500,000.

LIV Sotheby’s International Quarter 3 Micro Market Reports Out Now
Houses aren’t only where we live, they are also an investment. Rumors surrounding the economy and the state of the housing market have some confused. But luckily for locals, and those interested in moving to the Vail Valley for world-class ski resorts, gorgeous landscapes and luxury amenities, the real estate market is proving to be a smart place to invest in. LIV Sotheby’s International Realty’s Quarter 3 2019 Micro Market Report analyzed the real estate performance and trends for January – September 2019 compared to that of 2018. Results for Eagle County as a whole showed an increase in both sold properties (+2%) and total sales volume (2.1%). The town of Vail saw a decrease by 5.8% for days on market. Bachelor Gulch saw a dramatic increase of 32.6% for average price.
