About

Nestled in the Vail Golf Course neighborhood, this charming 4 bedroom multi-level residence is the perfect mountain escape.  One of the only properties in the Vail Golfcourse Townhomes that is backed to the National Forest for gorgeous private views.  Walk into the home and immediately enjoy the light and bright feel coming from the natural wood floors throughout and skylights and windows that frame distant views of the Gore Range.  Located only a short walk away from the Free Town of Vail bus stop that brings you to and from Vail Village, and drops you right at the ski school and ski slopes in Vail’s Golden Peak.  After long fun-filled days outdoors, enjoy easy access to the amenities, summertime pool, and golf and nordic skiing on the Vail Golf Course & Nordic Center steps away. Conveniently located down the street, dine or enjoy cocktails overlooking the Gore Range at Grill On the Gore.

The open floor plan on the main level consists of the living room, kitchen, breakfast bar and the dining room.  Friends and family will enjoy sitting by the wood-burning fire, which is a rarity and grandfathered in.  The master bedroom on the top floor has great views of the Gore Range and is lit up with natural light.   There is an attached home office to the master with a skylight that is a perfect spot for a private workspace.  Enjoy several storage closets for all of your mountain gear - skis, bikes, and golf clubs.

This property is ideally priced for someone who is looking for the opportunity to make a space uniquely their own in a prime location in Vail. The homeowners association maintains the landscaping, snow, building exterior, and property responsibility, making it a stress free mountain escape for someone who wants to make Vail their home.

The Vail Golf Course Neighborhood is one of the most unique locations in the Vail Valley and has some of the most majestic views of the Gore Range Mountains. The Vail Golf Course is located immediately adjacent to Vail Village’s Golden Peak ski base. This beautiful golf course community is home to some of the Vail Valley’s first residents, many of whom formed some of Vail’s original businesses. Why would the earliest locals select this area and remain for so many decades? Due to the unique location that includes the only bus route in Vail (other than the Vail Village in-town bus route) that drops you right at the ski school and ski slopes in Vail, rather than at the transportation center. In addition, it is the shortest route of all the free Vail shuttle routes making an already convenient ride even more so. In the summer months, you can just walk or ride your bike to the Vail Village, or take in a Bravo Vail! or Dance event at the Ford Amphitheater, which is located between Vail Village and the Vail Golf Course and offers many concerts, special events, and performances throughout the year. In addition to Gore Creek running through the area and prominent views of the Gore Range, the Vail Golf Course neighborhood is home to the renowned public Vail Golf Course, which also operates as a cross country ski area in the wintertime and has a great restaurant and patio for enjoying great food and drinks. The Vail Golf Course offers some of the most sought after property locations in the Vail Valley.

About the Area

Vail Village

The Town of Vail is surrounded by the White River National Forest and Vail Ski Resort: home to world class skiing, biking, hiking, fishing, golfing, shopping, and dining. The town of Vail has a total area of 4.5 square miles with the Gore Creek flowing through the center of town. Elevation average is around 8,150 feet above sea level and visible from the top of Vail Mountain is the world famous “Mount of the Holy Cross”. Nestled among the stunning mountains, meandering rivers and streams, lush forests, and aspen fields, Vail always feels intimate with splendid alpine villages and friendly people. Modeled on European ski towns, many of which are car-free, the town is partially pedestrianized. The Town of Vail operates the largest free shuttle bus system in the United States and has one hybrid-electric bus. With an incredibly well developed culinary center and a variety of restaurants, Vail is also developing a cultural center, with various art and music venues active throughout the summer. Ford Amphitheater hosts several key events throughout the summer.

Piney River Ranch is only a few miles north of the Vail area.  “Piney” as people often refer to it, is set on the edge of Piney Lake, and nestled at the foot of the majestic Gore Range, Piney River Ranch is a private, forty-acre Rocky Mountain retreat, long known as a favorite wedding and day-trip destination.   Piney is surrounded by thousands of acres of backcountry within the White River National Forest.  Piney offers a variety of activities from fly-fishing, hiking, canoeing, stand-up paddle boarding, waterfalls or simply relaxing in the gorgeous natural environment.

The
Vail Golf Course presents golfers with a unique 18-hole, par 71 experience that is open to the public. When snow blankets the Vail Golf Club, it becomes the full-service Vail Nordic Center. Glide along 17 kilometers of daily-groomed skate and classic track, or snowshoe on 10 kilometers of scenic trails. For a new experience, check out our 13K of fat bike trails and fat bike rentals!

The close proximity to I-70 makes it an easy jaunt to Denver International Airport and the Greater Denver area to take in shopping, professional sporting events and other cultural events offered by the Front Range area.  And the Vail Jet Center is just 31 miles west and offers flights to and from many cities making Vail one of the most accessible mountain getaways with high level cultural events throughout the year.
